'The Town' Sweeps No. 1 Box Office Spot

Ben Affleck's gritty drama 'The Town,' in which he both starred and directed in, opened strong this weekend, stealing the No. 1 spot at the box office and pulling in an estimated $23.8 million. 'The Town' finds Ben as Doug, the leader of a ruthless gang of bank robbers whose life changes after they briefly take bank manager Claire ('Vicky Cristina Barcelona' star Rebecca Hall) hostage. Smitten by his beautiful captive, Doug begins a relationship with Claire, who has no idea that she has become involved with the man who terrorized her just days ago.
